#171 Ready, set, CELEBRATE!

Today is my 60th birthday.

I hope you'll come help me celebrate my birthday and the next decade of my life. The party is going on now right, right HERE!

See you there!

P.S. I seem to be hanging out more over there these days - so if you happen to stop here and this post seems way old, head over to The Studio at Lille Hus and you'll find me!

#169 What I did on Mother's Day

1. Painted the base of a table in my studio black.
2. Repotted a geranium that got blown over in the winds we've been having.
3. Hung a cafe rod on the antique standup desk outside my studio and proved, once again, that the last bit of a project will take at least three zillion times as long as all the previous bits combined.
4. Tried to figure out why colors I've printed out before are coming out differently now. Inks and printer all check out okay.
5. Wondered when Mercury will be out of retrograde and finished messing with me.
6. Finished this post and went to bed.

Happy Mother's Day!

#167 And we've lived happily ever after...

Thirty two years ago today, Dean and I were married at St. Mark's Episcopal Cathedral in Seattle, Washington. It was a beautiful spring day with clear blue skies and flowers and trees in full bloom. It seems like yesterday, not thirty two years ago!

Tonight we'll celebrate with dinner at a lovely restaurant. But, truth to tell, we celebrate every day. We know how very lucky we are...

Life is wonderful when you get to share it with someone you love with all your heart!
