I've not just been making quilts...

These are some explorations I've been doing with rug canvas. I like the grid - and it's so similar to the hardware cloth(metal) that I've used in the past - but I like the softer nature of the canvas. It's quieter...

something new...

Take one small art quilt. Photograph it. Print a detail. Cut it up. Arrange it. Sew it to a square of paper. Glue that to a larger square of paper. The result:

Just feeling quiet. Has happened a lot since I started the quilts. I'm happy and content. Silence is just so nice. So that's all for today - maybe I'll write about the quilts tomorrow. Or maybe I won't, huh?
