I'm deep in the dark doldrums of this midwinter. Can't quite figure out why these shorter-than-summer days seem so long.
Longer than long.
Tediously long.
Mind-numbingly long.
The gray. The cold. The quiet. From where I sit today it seems certain they'll never end.
Ever.

Okay...maybe...eventually...
