I almost always work in silence but it never seems silent in the room. So much is going on in my head when I work and I also talk to myself. I love the silence. I have a very hard time working in a classroom setting. Too much chatter drives me crazy. I have noticed that the ones who talk the most learn the least.
it's the only way i can truly work (although with a small person around, i have learnt to get some aspects of the work done with noise). a friend of mine works best with music. give me sweet sweet silence!
Yes. Silence is a balm at times, a friend at others and always welcome.
ReplyDeleteLove this quilt!
I think silence is one of the best gifts we can give to ourselves, don't you?
DeleteI'm glad you like the drawing - I never tire of hearing someone likes my work!
Cheers,
Karen Anne

Aaaaaah! I know exactly what you mean!
DeleteAnd I agree with silence not necessarily equating to quiet. In silence I can hear myself...and my thoughts.
Thank you for your post - so good to hear what others think/ feel.
