hardware stores...

i admit it. i'm a sucker for hardware stores. such really great things are there just waiting to be transformed into something other than…hardware.

i was in home depot last week and my eyes landed on the new reusable rubber twist ties they have by GearTie. 

in neon colors no less. and all different sizes.

be still my heart!

so easy to wear one as a necklace. just put it around your neck and bend one end to fasten over the other:

fun stuff!

and the earrings? they are from a few years ago…i made them with black shelf liner and black rubber gaskets and, since you can easily push the earring stud right through the shelf liner, you can wear these with any studs you like; easy-peasy.
